Bhopal : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday celebrated the 11th year of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s tenure in the state on Tuesday.
The BJP units organised programmes to celebrate the occasion, a release said.
Meanwhile, the opposition — Congress, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s tenure as a “tenure of scams”.
Madhya Pradesh Congress President Arun Yadav called the state’s ruling dispensation “a government of 132 scams”.
“In Chief Minister Chouhan’s tenure of 132 months, i.e., 11 years. A scam has happened every month,” he told IANS.
The AAP called the tenure a period of bad governance and corruption while CPI-M said “records of corruption” have been set in the last 11 years.-Agency
