Formation of United Nations Organisations and Role of India in UN!
United Nations Organizations were set up with the objective to facilitate international law, international security, economic development, social development, human rights and world peace. The org which is much known this by the name of the United Nations the foundation of this organisation, popularly known as the UN, was laid on October 24 in the year 1945.

The destruction caused due to World War I in 1945 become the cause of the emergence of the United Nations. Org with the primary goal to save many countries and future generations from the horrors of war. Simultaneously, to maintain international peace and security, to promote friendly relations between nations is also a goal. The United Nations declaration talks about human rights. It also clarifies that all countries will face social, economic, humanitarian and cultural challenges together.
Apart from preventing crises, why the need of the UN?
Its primary purpose is to prevent war in the world, to protect human rights, to make the process of international law enforcement necessary, to develop socio-economic, to improve the quality of life and to fight diseases. There were many such occasions when the UN kept an ideal in front of the world. Currently, there are circumstances of conflict due to the expansionist thinking of many countries, but the responsibility to stop them is the United Nations.

— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) October 24, 2017- India has been a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council since and in the years 1950-51, 1967-68, 1972-73, 1977-78, 1984-85, 1991-92 and 2011-2012. India is one of the founding members of the United Nations.
-India has always been an essential member of UN peacekeeping campaigns. In the 43 out of the 64 drives related to UN peacekeeping, 437 of India's soldiers have contributed towards the peacekeeping projects.
- Over 160 jawans of the Indian Armed Forces and the Police Force have given martyrdom while fighting under the United Nations blue flag.
- The Indian Armed Forces share the seven missions out of the ongoing 14 tasks for peace, by the United Nations,
-India was the first country which raised the issue of apartheid in South Africa in the year 1946.
- India had carried forward the issue of complete nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation in the United Nations.
-India was the only country armed with nuclear weapons that demanded the complete eradication of nuclear weapons.
- India has formed G-4 to meet UN Security Council reforms in 2005, together with Brazil, Japan and Germany.
- In 1996 India presented a draft Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism (CCIT).
- India had constituted United Nations Population Fund in the year 2005. India is one of the significant contributors in the UN programmes and functions from policy building to implementation.
Today On the seventy second anniversary of UN, UN has declaired today also as Snow Leopard Day.
