In National Fencing Competition, the Fencing Academy players from MP won 3 silver and four bronze medals

In the National Fencing Competition held in Gwalior, the team of six won the title, by pocketing seven medals. Medals include three silver and four bronze.
About one thousand players from different states participated in the competition. The players of the academy involved under the leadership of Fencing instructor Mr Bhupinder Singh Chauhan. Over the winning, the Sports Minister congratulated the team.
The Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia congratulated the medal winners and encouraged and praised them for their efforts and victory. The Minister spoke to the players and got competition-related information while supporting the players to win the medal by refining their talent.Secretary Sports Mr Sachin Sinha, and also Director Sports and Youth Welfare, Mr Upendra Jain were even present on this occasion.

The players who brought fame to the state are: Fencing Academy's player Shankar Pandey, Ankur Jain and Sushil Rakewar earned each silver medal in the event of competition in the game, while Dilshan, Anjali, Pragya and Shankar Pandey won one bronze medal in the EP event.- Window To News
