​The Main Agenda Between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and POTUS Donald Trump - GES2017

The 8th edition of the Global entrepreneurship Summit is the clear example of how President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are on to promotion of Innovation and expanding Job Opportunities.  GES2017 which is co-hosted by the US and India in Hyderabad, which will take off from 28th November including fifteen thousand individuals. In the queue of hosting from Washington DC, Dubai, Marrakech, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul and now for the very first time in the South Asian country,  India in  Hyderabad. The summit is set to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. 


The representative for the United States, Ivanka Trump the advisor to the President of USA will lead the US contingent to the summit and is set to highlight this year's theme of the GES2017, “Women First, Prosperity for All” and focus on supporting women entrepreneurs and fostering economic growth globally. The Summit will focus on four areas viz. Energy & Infrastructure; Digital Economy & Financial Technology; Health & Life Sciences and Media & Entertainment.

As tells Niti Ayog the one-third of the selected entrepreneurs are from India,  one third are from the United States, and one third are from other countries around the globe.  These 1,500 participants include nearly 300 investors and ecosystem supporters who will catalyse investment and networking at the Summit.

The Major High Lights of GEC2017 are : 


It is for the first time that the women participation is in the majority at the GES2017.

Women speakers and entrepreneurs from 127 countries are participating.

More than ten countries will be represented by an all-female delegation, which includes Afghanistan, Saidi Arabia and Isreal. 
 
From the US all the thirty-eight states are present for participation representing the American investors, entrepreneurs and ecosystem supporters community. 

From India entrepreneurs from Kashmir to Kanya Kumar and from West Bengal to Gujrat all in length and breadth of the country will join GES and connect with entrepreneurs and investors from around the world.

The speakers from across the globe will share their understanding and perspective towards the future of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship. Global Leaders such as John Chambers, Prem Watsa, Marcus Wallenberg will be sharing their perspective on varied topics.

The stories of-of hardship endured pivoted to success with the help of innovation and technology will be told and shred by the International as well the national breakthrough leaders.

From among the Indians, the lead speakers participating in sharing the insight and guide are:  Piyush Pandey, Chanda Kocchar,  Tessy Thomas who is  also known as the 'Missile Woman.', Vikas Khanna and much more.

The CEO Niti Ayog 'Amithabh Kant' said, "for us Indian the fest hold a special place as we are more intensely focused than ever to give any entrepreneur the opportunities and environment to help them thrive via offering the various programme like; Make In India, startup India, or the called Atal Innovation Mission.The objective is to showcase our incredible potential to the world. 

Technical fest of a virtual exhibition to the vertex, exchange of ideas via multi-touch interactive wall, sensor-enabled touch screens, rotoscope mural technology and physical displays which will showcase over hundreds of innovative start-ups, products, services and processes that are transforming the Indian and global landscape.


The series of the events covered in the summit are like Hackathons to pitch competitions, held not just in India, but around the world. The applied candidature for which is more than 500 out of which thirty-five have been shortlisted, who will become who will get the opportunity to present their ideas to the world’s top investors.
