Karnataka Government turns “ Sanskari” , Sunny Leone backs out of the event in Bengaluru

“Sunny Night in Bengaluru NYE 2018” will have no Sunny as the Bollywood actress and former porn star Sunny Leone announced on social media that she will not perform in Bengaluru. Sunny Night in Bengaluru NYE 2018 was private event which was to be held on New Year eve. The event became controversial as home minister of Karnataka government turned “ Sanskari” , refused permission for organizing the event and suggested that “music or Bharatanatyam instead”.

 

Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Years event,my team & I feel,safety of the people should always come first therefore I cannot attend.God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year!

The organizers went to court and sought permission for the event to be organized, which was granted by the court. But, eventually Sunny refused to attend the event by tweeting “Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Years event,my team & I feel, safety of the people should always come first therefore I cannot attend.
