No Tight and fancy “Burqa” for muslim Women: New“Fatwa” by Darul Uloom

Religious veil of Muslim women “Burqa” is now in radar of top religious leaders. A fatwa (ruling order) released stated that wearing "tight" and "fashionable" burqa is against the theoram of Islam, according to the Islamic seminary Darul Uloom, Deoband.
A fatwa issued for imposing new guidelines on type of burqa by the darool uloom based in Deoband, Saharanpur UP issued a fatwa (a kind of religious order) that basis of Islam. It says that Islam did not permit women to do anything that was unnecessary and might attract the attention of the men.
The Darul Ifta (a unit issuing fatwa) of the seminary stated that in the religious saying it is clear that the objective of wearing a burqa was to "hide" the body and avoid nasty attention.
The religious leaders of darul uloom also added that women should not go alone out of home without any reasonable cause.
All India Muslim Women Personal Law Board a leading organistion of muslim women in India supported this fatwa and reacted that Tight and designer burqas should not be worn by muslim women.
Many liberal Women's activist however opposing this and said that there was no need for issuing such a fatwa. it was an attempt to divert the attention of the community from important issues it was facing.
Other fatwas have been issued by the Darul Uloom in the past like banning eyebrow trimming and haircuts and use of beauty parlours.
This fatwa is issued at time when Triple talaq bill is tabled in Upper House Rajya Sabha after being passed in Lok Sabha. Many top muslim leaders are opposing this bill while many are in support.

Recently Darul Uloom Deoband issued a fatwa indicating Muslims community to stay away from New Year celebrations and cutting cakes on birthday and anniversary as all these celebrations are un-Islamic.
Darul uloom also issued a fatwa before realted to posting photographs in social media sites calls it un-Islamic.
Issued a fatwa which bans muslim women from plucking, trimming, shaping their eyebrows and cutting hair.
