Record made by lighting 1.21 lakh lamps on eve of Ekatma Yatra

Bhopal: On the eve of the Ekatma Yatra, Nagar Vikas Prasfutan Samiti of Jan Abhiyan Parishad lit 1.21 lakh lamps in Jhali pond to communication message of Advait Darshan of Adiguru Shankaracharya to masses. In 'Deep Yagya', people of all castes, religions and classes showed the strength of unity in diversity in Indian culture by lighting lamps.
 The Committee connected prominent voluntary organisations, religious and social organisations of Ratlam district, along with youths and women through registration. Preparations were going on for 15 days for this. Deep Yagya was organised as per the Vaidik system, by Gayatri Parivar to promote social harmony through the concept of Ekatma. People donated lamps at 36 places. Aarti of Maa Bharti was performed through series of 108 lamp besides reciting Narmadasthak written by Adiguru Shankaracharya.
 By contributing with all, people of Ratlam made 'Deep Dan' believing the lamp as a symbol of integration.-Window To News
