The Indian Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi was the winner of Nobel Peace Prize in the year 2014 for his peaceful struggle to stop children being exploited. "There is no greater violence than to deny the dreams of our children," he said while he received the Alfred Nobel Peace Prize.
Born in the small town of Madhya Pradesh, "Vidisha", the Nobel Laurent is a professional engineer who persuaded his degree from the Samrat Ashoka Technological Institute",and has big dreams to see India among Great Nations of the world. The very latest mission of Mr Kailash is "Bharat Yatra", where he has been drawing enormous support from citizens across India. The Yatra was kicked started from Kanyakumari on 8th of September 2017, to spread the awareness on child abuse and child trafficking. "Bharat Yatra" , is a three-year campaign which is aimed to increase the awareness and reporting of the abuse over the subject. It also works towards strengthening institutional response including medical health and compensations ensuring the protection of the kids underwent such violence and harassment, and are undergoing trials. To protect the victims and witnesses and increase the conviction in a time-bound manner is the main agenda of the Mr Kailesh's latest campaign .
Mr Kailash Satyarthi is only India born national who got the Nobel Laurent statue. Earlier in the year 1979, Mother Teresa was awarded Nobel Peace Prize who was Skopje born in Albanian, Ottoman Empire and was an Indian Citizen. - Window To News
