India is Set to Celebrate The 69th Republic Day on 26th January, Friday 2018, a regular ritual that world will witness from the Rajpath New Delhi. The very first Republic Day was celebrated in the year 1950 under the presidency of Rajendra Prasad.
The celebration to hail the constitution of India is celebrated every year with great honour. The day is declared as a gazetted national holiday. The constitution drafting committee headed by B R Ambedkar took two years, eleven months and seventeen days to be precise from the day of starting, i.e. 9th December 1946, to deliver the historic task of drafting The Constitution. The new Indian constitution was sketched and approved by the Indian Constituent Assembly and decided to celebrate it on 26th of January every year as India became a republic country.

The President of Myanmar Htin Kyaw, Philippines's President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the President of Singapore Halimah Yacob. The Prime Minister of Thailand Prayuth Chan-Ocha and the last to the list is Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. This is happening for the very first time that the ten chief guest, the Leaders from the "Association of South East Asian Nations", altogether will be part of the Republic day celebration.

The National Flag of India Hoisting : The celebration is initiated with the hoisting of National Flag at Rajpath New Delhi in the presence of the President and the chief Guests. Before the main celebration, a mini carnival also happens in the state capitals in the presence of Governors of each state. The magnificent parade follows the Flag hoisting and salutes event by the military team at the Rajpath. The participants the Indian Army, Air Force, Navy and apart from them the traditional dance group takes part in the parades.Many student form school and universities all across the nation come together to show off their talent with the group dance and by participating in the ceremony.
