Collector Provides Financial Assistance to Sahariya Women

Bhopal: Datia District Administration is presenting an example of sensitive and humble administration towards the poor and weaker section. The District Collector Madan Kumar not only helps such under privileged persons but always offer them a cup of tea in his chamber. Such a scenario was witnessed in the chamber of the collector, when 4 women of Sahariya Tribe reached Collector Office to collect their certificate for financial assistance of Rs. One thousand.

Munni w/o Kamta Sahariya, Ramkali w/o Mangal Sahriya of village Hussainpura and Bhaggo w/o Nanne Sahriya of village Hasapur reached in the Jan-Sunvai programme with a complaint that they have not received the financial assistance of Rs. One thousand in their bank accounts. Collector made them sit respectfully in his chamber, offered them tea and instructed the District Coordinator of Tribal Welfare Department for immediate action in connection to the payment. The amount of Rs. One thousand was transferred immediately to the bank accounts of each woman.
Moreover, the Collector also gave certificates to these poor women. A different kind of joy was reflecting from their faces on receiving the certificates.-Window To News
