As many as 680 government houses to turn high tech

Bhopal: As many as 680 government houses will be constructed in front of Hotel Palash under the Smart City Project. The accommodations will be covered, fully automated and high tech. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will perform bhoomi-pujan of the government accommodations at 3.30 pm on January 29.
After inspection of the spot, Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta and Mayor Alok Sharma issued instructions to the officials to make preparations of bhoomi-pujan within the time limit.
The government accommodations will be G Plus -14 storeyed. Out of the total 680 accommodations, 328 will be F type and 352 will be G type. The total area of F type houses will be 1157 square feet and it will have three bedrooms. G type houses will be constructed on 876 square feet with two bedrooms. Total 28 lifts will be installed. The whole premises will have Wi-Fi. A solar panel will be installed on the roof which will provide one megawatt power that will fulfil the demand of power of the campus.
CCTV cameras will be installed in the entire campus. Entry will be given only through RFID card. There will be facility of video door phone. Total cost in Rs two hundred crore. The houses are to be constructed in two years.
