Solar Pump will Prove to be a Game Changer for World: Minister Kushwaha

Representatives of 15 Countries Conduct Madhya Pradesh Tour 

Bhopal: Minister for New and Renewable Energy Narayan Singh Kushwaha said that solar pump will prove to be a game changer for the World. This will ensure farmers’ prosperity and food security of the country. A delegation of International Solar Alliance, consisting of representatives from 15 countries met Kushwaha as regard to the successful execution of solar based systems. Members of National Focul Point of Cambodia, Guinea, Madagascar, Malawi, South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Rawanda, Costa Rica, Fiji, Uganda, Burundi, Ghana and Guyana were part of the delegation.

Principal Secretary New and Renewable Energy Manu Shrivastava has informed that the delegation has conducted a tour of 20 k.w. grid connected solar roof top system of Regional Park (Pipliyapala)-Indore. The delegation gathered information about the 5 H.P.D.C. solar pump established at Agriculture Science center for irrigation system and 5 H.P.D.C. pump solar pump set up in the farm of Narendra Singh Rajput of Araniya block – Sonkuchh of Dewas district. They showed intense interest in the work capacity of the pump system, maintenance standard, which is controllable through mobile app. The delegation also conducted a tour of M/s Shakti Pump (I) Ltd., Pithampur and site of 50 m.w solar project located in Ichhawar.-Window To News
