Bhopal, April 7, 2018 (WTN): Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Star Plus has brought to viewers the story of Kullfi, a 7 year old girl from a village Chirouli near Pathankot, who is a God gifted singer with the unique ability to create songs out of any situation. Gifted with a soulful voice, with her music she is able to bring in happiness and positivity in a situation that one would consider bleak. Aakriti Sharma is playing role of Kullfi in this serial. Kullfi Kumar Bajewala is a remake version of the Bengali language television series Potol Kumar Gaanwala, which was aired on Star Jalsha in 2015
Kullfi is an extremely lively, fun loving, energetic, innocent little girl who always has a smile on her face. Dressed in her favourite salwar-kurtas, coupled with sports shoes and hair tied in a cutesy ponytail, Kullfi stroll the lanes of her remote village in a hope of discovering new things. The only companion in her journey is her melody. She faces all challenges with a smile and innocence that has touched everyone’s hearts.
Talking about her character, Anjali Anand shared, “The show is a refreshing story of a daughter’s journey to find her father and my role adds spice to the show. Lovely is very different from what you have seen me before. This is a good challenge; it will give me room to learn more and I will work hard to get it right.” She added, “I always look forward to my visit to Bhopal where I can try the special poha-jalebi combination and visit the local markets in the evening.”
While the viewers have witnessed the melodious and guiltless life of Kullfi, they have also been an audience to the wealthier and urbane life of Loveleen Singh Gill played by Anjali Anand. Loveleen (Lovely) is a social butterfly. She is married to Sikander Singh Gill (Mohit Malik) and credits his success to her father’s status and money. She has been brought up in a progressive environment and hence has a skewed judgement of people at times. She is the role model for her daughter Amyra (Myra Singh). Unlike her husband, she believes in spending her time and money on maintaining good looks and throwing parties for every occasion.
Debutant Aakriti Sharma, essays the role of the protagonist who hails from a small village Chirouli in Pathankot. Produced by Gul Khan and Nilanjana Purkayasstha (4 Lion Films), the how also stars Mohit Malik, Anjali Anand, Pallavi Rao, Mehul Buch and Shruti Sharma in interesting roles.
