Teachers should present ideals for students: Governor Smt. Patel

Governor dedicates Vidhyakunj International School building at Badwani (Sendhwa)
Bhopal: Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel dedicated Vidhyakunj International School building and Khodal Charan hostel at Sendhwa in Badwani district on Monday. Smt. Patel called upon the teachers at the programme to present ideals for students and apprise them with Indian culture and traditions alongwith modern education, as only then would the youngsters of India become creators of a developed nation.
The Governor told the parents of students to keep watch over their children’s activities and lovingly teach them good things so that they become cultured. She directed the educational institutions to make full use of modern resources in the education system. Smt. Patel said that the children from backward areas should also be added to the modern education system so that they acquire good education from their home and village.
Governor Smt. Patel honoured land donor Smt. Dhaniben Nandad at the dedication programme in Khodal Charan hostel. On the occasion she said that all sections of the society should adopt the basic mantra of “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao”. She urged them to come forward to stop evils like child marriage and become a participant in social and economic development by shedding all addictions.
Smt. Patel told farmers to get soil tests done from time to time and use cow dung compost and bio-fertiliser in their fields in place of chemical fertilisers as far as possible. She told them to adopt drip system for irrigation and get toilets constructed mandatorily in their homes and use them.
Governor Smt. Patel inspected the hostel building and met the hosteliers. Animal Husbandry Minister Antar Singh Arya, Municipality Chairman Smt. Basanti Yadav, elite citizens and senior administrative and police officials were present on the occasion.-Window To News
