Indian new hope for medals

Monika Batra is the new sensation of India. She has won two gold medals for India in Commonwealth games. Not only gold but she won silver and bronze medal in Table Tennis.
At present she is top-ranked female table tennis player in India and ranked 58th in the world. In 2011, Batra won the silver medal in the under-21 category of the Chile Open. She represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow, where she finished quarterfinalist. She won three medals in 2014 Asian Games.
 In 2015 Commonwealth Table Tennis Championship, she won silver in the women's team event as well as the women's doubles event and bronze in the women's singles event.
Batra won three gold medals at the 2016 South Asian Games, winning the women's doubles even, mixed doubles event and women's team event.
 
22 years old Monika is the new icon for Indian youth. Her commitment toward game shows that she may win medal in upcoming Olympics for India in table tennis.
 
At present she is at ranked 58th in the world, but hope she will improve her performance and will show her best in next Olympics. But she will have to face Chinese players in the hard competition.
 
Table tennis has always governed Monika’s life choices. She switched schools for better training opportunities, and later opted to drop out of one of Delhi's most prestigious colleges to focus on the game. She moved to Hansraj Model School because TT coach was there.
 
During her school and college days, the west Delhi girl did modeling as well, something she later gave up to concentrate on table-tennis. She used to get modeling offers and she did that too. But later she concentrated on her game and left modeling.
 
For 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Monika is ready to give her best. She is preparing herself for the upcoming events. Hope she will give her best.
