Get Ready To Relish Flavors Of China Town! Courtyard By Marriott Bhopal To Host Ten Day Food Fest ‘Street No. 47’

Bhopal, May 4 . Bhopalites! Be ready to have an extraordinary experience of tasting Chinatown Tangra's sweet and spicy Hakka cuisine with a classic glance of perfection. Courtyard Marriott is going to organize 10 day food festival ‘Street No. 47’. Starting from 4th May at its multi cuisine restaurant MoMo Cafe at between 7PM-11.30 PM this fest will offer wide range of Kolkata’s street food. 
 



In order to serve authentic taste Courtyard Marriott has Hakka Cuisine specialist Chef Itaa Singh Lepcha, who will be assisted by the in-house chef Mr. Bharath Basel. Chef Itaa is currently associated with J. W. Marriott, Kolkata. He started his journey from Kolkata's China Town.



Addressing a press conference to elaborate the entire preparation for the food fest Chef Itaa said "Years back the natives of Hakka/Han China province moved to this region for business and trade. Many of them settled in Kolkata. Their food was adopted by the locals with a Desi twist and it became a hit."



Executive Chef Ravinder Singh Panwar, Courtyard Marriott, Bhopal informed that the fest will serve a wide variety of soups, noodles, veg/non veg starters and main course dishes. He also informed that Kolkata's Street No. 47 is quite famous for this cuisine and that is why the fest is named on the street itself.



He said guests will be served with soups like Manchurian, Hot & Sour, Manchow and Lung-Fung; Hakka Noodles, Paneer in Hunana Style, Tangara Chilli Chicken, Drums Of Heaven, Dragon Chicken, Tange Chicken and several other unique starters and snacks.



In addtion, Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian main-course meals will cover Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce, Chicken Barbeque Sauce & Diced, Water Chestnut & Tofu In Tao's Sauce, Chicken In Black Paper Sauce, Mix Veg Kung Pao, Broccoli , Corn & Water Chestnut In Chilli Bean Sauce, Fish In Devils Sauce and Fish In Dragon Chilli Sauce. - Window To News
