“LITMUS TEST” for Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi!

Saturday - May 12, 2018 11:48 am , Category : WTN SPECIAL

MAY 12(WTN) - Voting for the Karnataka assembly election is on May 12. This southern state is very important for both the BJP and the Congress. Karnataka is a “LITMUS TEST” for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under his leadership BJP is continuously winning assembly election in many states. On the other hand, Karnataka assembly election is also a big test for Rahul Gandhi. After becoming the Congress President, Karnataka assembly election is the huge test of his leadership. Karnataka assembly election is the first dominant test for Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s team in the south. Karnataka is the first state in the south where the BJP has formed its own government. But at present in Karnataka, there is a Congress government. So there is tremendous pressure on Rahul Gandhi for this state. If Congress win the Karnataka so having won the Karnataka assembly election, Rahul Gandhi will contest with full influence in 2019 Lok Sabha election.

First we talk about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After coming to the power in 2014, except Bihar and Punjab, the BJP has won the assembly elections in many states. The Karnataka Legislative Assembly election is considered to be the quarter-final before the Lok Sabha election of 2019. This election is so crucial for both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, To win the Karnataka assembly election, both Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have addressed several rallies here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed 21 rallies in the Karnataka assembly elections in six days, while Amit Shah has addressed 27 rallies. This election of Karnataka is also a test of the wave of Narendra Modi in the south. It is said that the BJP is a party of North and West part of India. But Modi would like to win the Karnataka assembly election, so having won the Karnataka assembly election; there would be assiduousness in the BJP workers for the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh assembly elections to be held in the last this year.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has also put his full strength in the Karnataka elections. This is a big test of Rahul's leadership. Because the Congress has been defeated in the assembly election of many states continuously. This is Rahul Gandhi's first major test after becoming the Congress President. In Karnataka congress is in power since 2013. It is believed that there is an anti-incumbency wave against the government, but the opinion polls are expressing that no party will get a full majority. It is believed that anti-incumbency is not so much against Congress. If Rahul Gandhi has been successful in influencing voters with his speeches, then Congress is going to win the Karnataka election, and having won the Karnataka assembly election, Congress will contest with full strength for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

The Karnataka assembly election is a big test for both Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. Where Karnataka's election is a test of Narendra Modi's wave in the south, this is also a big test for Rahul Gandhi's leadership. It is said that whichever party wins the Karnataka assembly elections, that pasty loses in Lok Sabha election next year. Now it has to be seen how correct this equation is.
