Capital investment of Rs. 23 thousand 949 crore under Industry based Memorandum

Over 9 lakh 60 thousand persons got respectable employment 

Bhopal: A Capital investment of over Rs. 23 thousand 949 crore has been made in more than 2 lakh 93 thousand micro, small and medium industries in the state under the Industry based Memorandum during the last 2 years. Employment to 9 lakh 6 thousand 802 unemployed persons has been provided in these industries also.

Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge) Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak has informed that a capital investment of 14 thousand 401 crore 67 lakh has been made in 2 lakh 6 thousand 142 industries during 2017-18. Employment to 5 lakh 96 thousand 990 persons has been provided in these industries. A total of one lakh 97 thousand 853 micro, 8019 small and 270 medium scale industries were established in this period.

Moreover, Pathak mentioned that in the previous fiscal year, a capital investment of Rs. 9 thousand 547 crore 32 lakh was made and employment to 3 lakh 63 thousand 812 persons were provided. During this tenure, 80 thousand 688 micro, 6140 small and 243 medium scale industries were established in the state.

Online registration system made registration easy for industries

MoS Pathak further added that owing to the new system of UAM registration being implemented in the state after the notification of the Union Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on September 18, 2015, registration are made by entrepreneurs from its place only. Total 2 lakh 93 thousand 213 persons have set up micro, small and medium scale industries in the state through online registration.-Window To News
