Sidhi to be made Mini Smart City

CM Chouhan participates in Asangathit Mazdoor Sammelan at Sidhi 

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made an announcement that Sidhi will be made a Mini Smart City. He mentioned that in this connection a detailed report by experts will be prepared and overall development of Sidhi will be carried out. CM Chouhan was addressing the convention of labourers of the unorganised sector at village Panwar and Pooja park at Sidhi. He mentioned that benefits will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries of the Asangathit Shramik Kalyan Yojana by holding gram sabhas on June 13.

CM Chouhan further stated that his intention is to bring happiness in the life of poor of the state. Everyone has equal right over the natural resources and this right of the poor will be given by the state government. Each poor landless person will be made land owner by giving patta. Financial assistance will be provided to construct house under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana within the next 4 years.

Chouhan said that the state government will bear fee of the poor students of all the categories for higher education like engineering, medical, I.I.T. etc. Free medical treatment will be provided to all poor. An amount of Rs. 4 thousand will be deposited in the bank accounts of pregnant women of labourer families during the 6 months to 9 months pregnancy and Rs. 12 thousand for nutritious food after the delivery.

Moreover, CM Chouhan informed that Rs. 2 lakh, in case of natural death of labourer below 60 years of age and Rs. 4 lakh in case of accidental death will be provided. Electricity at the flat rate of Rs. 200 will be given to the families of labourers. Moreover, a financial assistance of Rs. 5 thousand will be given to perform final rites in case of death of labourer.

Member of Parliament Sushi Riti Pathak, Member of Rajya Sabha Ajay Pratap Singh, MLA Kunwar Singh Tekam, Chairman of Vidhya Development Authority Subhash Singh, President of Jila Panchayat Abhyuday Singh, President of Janpad Panchayat Smt. Shakuntala Singh and President Nagar Palika Devendra Singh were present in the programme.

Registration certificates to labourers and benefits of various schemes were distributed to beneficiaries in the convention.-Window To News
