State government is with the poor and middle class: CM Chouhan

CM takes part in Khedapati Hanuman Ji Maharaj Swarn Gada Arpan programme 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is with the poor and middle class of the state in all their needs. New scheme like the Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Kalyan has been implemented. Under the scheme the work of fulfilling all basic needs in the lives of the poor will be undertaken. He said that the work of registration was in progress in the Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana. More than 2 crore 2 lakh people have registered in the state. Chouhan was addressing the Khedapati Hanuman Ji Maharaj Swarn Gada Arpan programme at Narela today.

CM Chouhan said that the aim of human life is to achieve God. The participants of the Swarn Gada Arpan programme will win God’s grace. He said that his people are his God. He is continuously working for their service. Giving information about the Mukhya Mantri Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana CM Chouhan said that under this scheme, owners of less than two and a half acres of land, non-government servants and non-income tax payers are being registered. Statutory piece of land will be legally made available to the registered landless persons under the scheme. Pucca houses will be given to families in four years. Education of children from first to PhD and free treatment serious diseases will be free. Rs. 4 thousand will be given to women during 6-9 months of pregnancy and Rs 12 thousand after the birth of the child.

Families of unorganized labourers will have to pay only Rs.200 for consumption of electricity till the prescribed period. State government will make the remaining payment. In case of death of the head of the family in less than 60 years, Rs 2 lakhs will be given and Rs 4 lakhs will be given in case of accidental death. Rs 5 thousand will also be given for performing last rites.

Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperatives Vishwas Sarang told that a shobha yatra will be taken out for the Swarn Gada offering to Khedapati Hanuman Ji Maharaj. He thanked the guests at the programme.-Window To News
