Fair probe will be conducted into April 2nd incident

CM Chouhan gives assurance 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that an impartial inquiry will be conducted into the incident that occurred in the Gwalior-Chambal division during Bharat Bandh on April 2. No action will be taken against innocent persons. Besides, proper assistance will be given to people who suffered loss of life and property.

Chief Minister Chouhan said this during a meeting with a delegation here today at the Mantralaya. The delegation gave him a memorandum regarding conducting a fair probe into the incident that occurred on April 2 in Gwalior-Chambal division and giving relief to the people for loss of life. The Chief Minister has instructed to provide necessary assistance to the victims and to conduct an impartial inquiry into the incident.

Public Relations Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, State Minister for Tribal Affairs, Schedule Caste Welfare Lal Singh Arya, MLA Mehgaon Mukesh Choudhury, State BJP Anusuchit Jati Morcha Treasurer Barelal Ahirwar, Anusuchit Jati Morcha Bhopal District President Yashwant Rao, Pravin Meshram Balaghat and Ramswaroop Shukraware Bhopal etc were present on the occasion.

It may be noted that there was a demonstration in Bhind on April 2 against the Supreme Court orders related to Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act during which untoward incidents were reported at a few places.-Window To News
