51 Mandis declared notified for onion purchase from farmers

Bhopal: As many as 51 Mandis of 34 districts have been declared notified for onion purchase from farmers in the year 2018-19 in state. Onion will be purchased from these farmers under Bhavantar Bhugtan Yopjana from May 16 to June 30 and from August 1 to August 31. Farmers registered on e-procurement portal will be able to sell onions to licensed traders under open auction in Mandi premises to avail benefits of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana in the declared period in notified mandis.

Among the mandis declared notified for onion purchase from farmers by the state government include Bhopal, Sehore, Ashta, Narsinghgarh, Jeerapur, Sarangpur, Betul, Harda, Timarni in Bhopal division, Indore, Badnavar, Rajgarh, Khandwa in Indore division, Ujjain, Neemuch, Manada, Shajapurm Shujalpur, Up-mandi Polaikalan (Akodia), Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jaora, Sailana in Ujjain division, Lashkar, Dabra, Datia, Guna, Shivpuri, Gohad, Morena, Porsa, Sheopur in Gwalior division, Sagar, Khurai, Rehli, Gadhakota, Deori, Rahatgarh, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Tikamgarh in Sagar division, Jabalpur, Chhindwada, Gadarwara in Jabalpur division and Rewa, Satna, Singrauli, Anuppur and Shahdol in Rewa division.-Window To News
