Beneficiaries to pay actual bill under Flat Bill Scheme

CM Chouhan reviews proposed schemes of Energy department 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that registration of beneficiaries under Flat Electricity Bill Scheme should be made in easy and convenient way at large scale. For registration, camps should be organised in bigger Haat and Bazaar like public places along with electricity distribution centres. Chouhan was reviewing proposed draft of Gharelu Bill Saral Samadhan Yojana and Saral Bijli Bill Yojana of Energy Department today at Mantralaya.

 Chief Minister Chouhan said that actual monthly bill of registered labourers will be charged which will be Rs 200 maximum. If anyone gets monthly electricity bill of Rs 150, he will have to pay only Rs 150. Instructions were issued to publicise this system widely.

 Finance Minister Jayant Mallaiya, Energy Minister Paras Jain and Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance A.P. Shrivastava, Principal Secretary, Energy I.P.C. Kesri, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Ashok Varnawal and Vivek Agrawal were present.
