People of the state should work committedly towards a plastic-free state

CM Chouhan’s call on World Environment Day 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has called upon the citizens of the state to work committedly towards a plastic-free state on World Environment Day. In his message the CM said a drive to free the state of plastic pollution is being launched.

CM Chouhan said that plastic is the most dangerous substance for the environment. This is an enemy of the earth. The fattening layer of plastic waste on Earth’s surface has become the biggest threat to human, animals, insects, trees and plants, air and water. The CM said that the state government is committed to tackle the threats of plastic. A ban has been imposed on the production, storage, transport, sale and use of plastic bags. For this there is need for every citizen to become alert.

Chouhan has called upon the citizens to extend full support and contribute towards a plastic-free state. They must extend support in the efforts being put in by the government.-Window To News
