Lesson from Kairana, BJP trying to eliminate the resentment of NDA allies

Tuesday - June 5, 2018 12:49 pm , Category : WTN SPECIAL

BJP’s ‘preparation’ for 2019 Loksabha election

JUNE 05(WTN) - It seems that after the defeat in the Kairana Loksabha by-election, the BJP has realized that if BJP wants to win in the 2019 Loksabha election then it is not possible without the allies. To defeat BJP in Kairana, Congress, SP, BSP and Aam Aadmi Party all supported RLD candidates. Kairana's defeat seems to have been ‘analyzed’ by the BJP and it seems that the BJP has ‘understood’ that if BJP wants to give the answer to so called opposition allies, may be formed in the 2019 Loksabha election, then BJP will have to be  together with its NDA’s allies.

Amit Shah is preparing to meet Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray in the midst of the ‘tense relationship’ with BJP’s ally Shiv Sena. It is believed that this meeting is possible at Matoshree in Uddhav Thackeray's house at 6 pm on Wednesday evening. The recent stress of both the allies has been seen in recent times. Recently, BJP and Shiv Sena contested against each other in Palghar by-election.

This meeting will be held in Mumbai under the BJP's “Sampark for Samarthan” campaign. This meeting is being considered important between the Shiv Sena and BJP's cordial relations. For your information, that both the BJP and the Shiv Sena had contested against each other in the Palghar Loksabha by-election on June 7. Here, a NDA meeting has also been convened in Bihar. It is believed that it is the BJP's attempt to ‘improve relations’ with the allies after the defeat in the recent by polls. Amit Shah will be staying in Chandigarh on June 7, where he will meet Akali Dal leader Prakash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal. This meeting will also be under BJP’s Sampark for Samarthan” campaign. At Patna on June 7, BJP state president Nityanand Rai invited all the colleagues to dinner.

According to information from sources, the Narendra Modi cabinet can be expanded in the month of July and this can be the fourth and last expansion of this government. According to sources, in the wake of the forthcoming Loksabha election, discussions at the top level are going on for the political equation of the states and their associates.

Let you know that JD (U) was not given representation in the cabinet expansion in September last year. Also, due to lack of consensus on a cabinet rank, Shiv Sena's share could not be increased in the cabinet. During that time, there was also discussion with AIADMK to give space in cabinet, but the final decision on this was not taken due to differences between the two factions in the party (AIADMK). It is being said that now in the potential cabinet expansion, there will be effort to give representation to NDA's new partners as well as angry allies.

If the BJP wants to win in the 2019 Loksabha election, then BJP will have to try its ‘utmost effort’ so its votes could not be polarized. It is believed that the opposition parties can contest 2019 Loksabha election together to defeat the BJP, due to this the BJP may have to face problems. In such a situation, for the 2019 Loksabha election, the BJP has decided, while formulating a strategy, to go on a policy of eliminating the resentment of its allies and keeping them together. But we have to see how successful this BJP policy is.
