Will Indian oil companies give benefit to Indian customers?

JUNE 06 (WTN) - The decline effect in crude oil prices in the international market is also seen in the domestic market. Today, on the eighth day, the price of petrol and diesel has been reduced. Today, the price of petrol has been reduced by 11 paisa per liter, while diesel has been cut by 8 paisa per liter. Let you know that crude oil prices have declined by $6 per barrel in the international market in the last ten days. On Tuesday, crude oil plummeted 1.6 per barrel to around $74 per barrel. Due to which the prices of petrol and diesel are coming down in India.

In Delhi, the price of petrol is 77 rupees 72 paise per liter, in Kolkata it is 80 rupees 37 paise per liter, in Mumbai 85 rupees 54 paise per liter and 80 rupees 68 paise per liter in Chennai. Diesel price in Delhi is 68 rupees 80 paise per liter, in Kolkata 71 rupees 34 paise per liter, in Mumbai, 73 rupees 24 paise and in Chennai 72 rupees 63 paise.

But when crude oil was expensive, Indian oil companies increased petrol and diesel price for the past one month, now crude oil became cheaper, but the prices of petrol and diesel have not been reduced by the oil companies in India as prices could have been cheaper. According to experts, Indian oil companies are not giving those benefits to their customers, according to the rates of crude oil decreased in the international market.

But it is believed that there may be further reduction in the price of crude oil in the coming days, which could benefit Indian customers. At the same time, after the results of the OPEC countries meeting on June 22, the situation will be clear whether the reduction in petrol and diesel will continue. It is being speculated that after the meeting of OPEC countries, crude oil prices may come up to $60 per barrel.
