Shiv Sena is ‘must’ for BJP!

Thursday - June 7, 2018 3:14 pm , Category : WTN SPECIAL

Big task for BJP to convince its most trusted ally Shiv Sena

JUNE 07(WTN) - Shiv Sena has been considered as BJP's most trusted ally in the NDA. The ideology of both the parties has been remained the same, but for the last few years the ‘political war’ between these two parties has been continue. While separation of TDP from the NDA in Andhra Pradesh and the tightening of JDU in Bihar, the BJP really needs a trusted partner who stands with party during the 2019 Loksabha election.

To convince the Shiv Sena, which has been angry for a long time, BJP National President Amit Shah himself met Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray yesterday in Mumbai. After the meeting, Amit Shah had said that BJP and Shiv Sena would contest together not only in 2019 but in 2024 Loksabha election. But breaking the trust of Amit Shah, Shiv Sena has made it clear that party will contest the 2019 Loksabha election on its own.

Shiv Sena's senior leader Sanjay Raut said, "We know Amit Shah's agenda but the Shiv Sena has already passed the resolution to contest alone in forthcoming Loksabha election. There will be no change in this proposal. "It is clear from Shiv Sena's statement that Shiv Sena's ‘resentment’ has not taken away from the BJP. Shiv Sena's resentment with the BJP has been going on for a long time.

Let you know that Shivsena is BJP ally in the center and Maharashtra government. Shiv Sena is angry with many policies of the BJP government at the Center. Shiv Sena is constantly questioning the BJP and especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi on issues such as rising inflation, Pakistan policy, FDI, Ram temple and more participation in the government. In the recent Loksabha by-election in Palghar, both Shiv Sena and BJP parties had contested separately.

According to the 2019 Loksabha election, the Shiv Sena is very much important for BJP. If the BJP and the Shiv Sena contest in different segments, the BJP, in the second largest state of Maharashtra according to the seats, may have to suffer a lot. In the 2014 Loksabha election, the BJP had contested in Maharashtra together with the Shiv Sena and Swabhiman Paksh, this alliance won 42 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra. If both the BJP and Shiv Sena are going to take part separately in 2019 Lok Sabha election, then both parties may have to suffer.

In the 2014 Loksabha election, both the BJP and the Shiv Sena had contested together and both got total 47.90 percent vote sharing. Now if both parties will contest separately in 2019 Loksabha election, then it is natural that both the parties will ‘cut’ each other's votes, so both parties will be in disadvantage. But in politics there is no permanent friend and enemy forever. It is believed that before the election, BJP will be successful to convince Shiv Sena and if it does not happen, then the BJP may have to face ‘heavy losses’ in the 2019 Loksabha election.
