June 08 (WTN) - Seven hours of sleep per day can keep your heart young and reduce the risk of heart related diseases as well. Research has shown that the adult people who take seven hours of sleep at night have young heart. Sleeping less than seven hours or more is related youngness of the heart, whereas the people who sleep less faces the heart problems.
Julia Dummer of Imory University in Georgia, USA, said, "These results are important because it displays the quantitative method of involving people's heart related risks and the duration of sleep." The research has published in a magazine called 'Sleep'. It included data of 12,775 adults, aged between 30 and 74 years old.
77 percent of the world's youth are getting sick due to lack of sleep
If you are taking 8 to 9 hours of sleep, then you are one of the luckiest people in the world. But sadly, 77 percent of the world's youth are getting sick due to lack of sleep. In this survey, 15 thousand people from 13 countries of the world have been included including India.
In this survey, the condition of people of India and Japan is serious. People from these two countries sleep less than 7 hours on average, while Argentina, Spain and Ukraine are included in the list of countries that have a good sleeping position. People in these countries take an average of 10 hours of sleep. According to a survey, due to work pressure in Japan, about 2 thousand people commit suicide every year.
Most of these people suffer from depression due to less sleep. To reduce this problem, some Japanese companies have arranged for their employees to sleep in the office itself. Employees feel refreshed with sometime of sleep and then get into work. But India's position is a bit different.
