P.Chidambaram targets the center's economic policies.

JUNE 11 (WTN) - The Congress party has been opposing the decision of demonetization of prime minister Narendra Modi from the beginning. Now, while the RBI data says that cash, presented in the market, at the record level in the country at this time. In this way, former finance minister P.Chidambaram has targeted the center's economic policies. Chidambaram said that due to the 'administrative inefficiency' and 'policy deficit' of the Modi government, there has been a problem of agricultural crisis, unemployment and economy in the country.

Former finance minister Chidambaram said that the frustration of the farmers has turned into anger and they have come to the streets to protest. Chidambaram spoke on various issues related to the Indian economy and condemned the BJP. Chidambaram said that the main reason for the low wages of agricultural produce and agricultural labor is informal value. MSP (Minimum Support Price) is not enough. Chidambaram, while targeting the BJP, said that every farmer knows that the promise of 50 percent of the MSP cost is just an excerpt.

Former finance minister P. Chidambaram also mentioned the report of the RBI during this period, which states that 48 percent of the people believe that the condition of the economy has worsened in the last 12 months. Alleging the government, he also said that unemployment has increased in the country. Chidambaram said that the promise of BJP government of providing employment has proved wrong.

Chidambaram also raised the question that why the bureau of labor bureau did not release survey for the October-December 2017? Chidambaram said that because of the demonetization, the growth rate in 2015-16 dropped from 8.2 percent to 6.7 percent in 2017-18. Giving generous support to the Tamil Nadu government, Chidambaram said that the Tamil Nadu government officially acknowledged that during the year 2017-18, 50,000 small business units were closed in the state. Five lakh jobs have been lost and the capital investment in the MSME sector has declined by Rs 11,000 crore.

Chidambaram also targeted the Modi government in the excuse of GST. Chidambaram said that due to erroneous goods and service tax (GST) the business is continuously being affected. He said that the social security laws and programs have been neglected by the BJP-led central government.

It is believed that in the Loksabha election, the Congress party will be contesting on issues such as demonetization and GST. At the same time, on the issue of employment and farmers, the Congress will also ‘siege’ the BJP in the Loksabha election. It is difficult for the BJP to answer the questions of Congress on these issues. Because the figures that are coming out from time to time are proving that the demonetization and GST has had a negative impact on the economy of the country.
