Make necessary repairs in government buildings and houses: Minister Rampal Singh

Public Works Minister issues directives through video conferencing 
Bhopal: Public Works Minister Rampal Singh has instructed that the department should carry out repairs and other necessary improvement works in government buildings and residential houses immediately. He said that the repair work of schools and hospital buildings should be done on top priority. He told to make regular inspections of the buildings and resolve the complaints of water seepage from the roof promptly. Singh was holding a discussion with the departmental officials through video conferencing at the Mantralaya today. Singh said that the potholes on the roads should be rectified immediately during the rainy season. He said that necessary improvements and repairs should be made by the contractors on the roads of Performance Guarantee.

Singh said that tree plantation programmes should be organised in the month of June-July in all departmental government office premises, Circuit House, Rest-House and residential premises and the maintenance of the plants should also be ensured. The information about plantation at the division-level should be given to ENC. He said that time should be taken from the minister in charge and MP for bhoomi-pujan of the new works and dedication of the works.

Singh said that the bridges should be inspected before rainy season. He also gathered information about the timely payment of contractors. In addition, he also held discussion on subjects related to approval of budget allocation and Chief Minister’s announcements.
