No buyer found to buy Air India's 76 percent shares

JUNE 13 (WTN) - The government is now preparing to sell the entirety of Air India. After failing to sell stake in Air India, the government is now planning to sell Air India ‘fully’. Earlier, the government tried to sell the 76 percent stake of Air India, but the government's attempt was unsuccessful. That is, now it is believed that the government is now planning to sell it fully instead of selling shares of Air India.

According to the information, by adopting the policy, offered to buy Air India's shareholding, could not be successful and Air India's shareholding could not be sold. Now the government has planned that Air India should be sold in any other way. It is believed that the government is now planning to sell Air India completely instead of having its 24 percent share.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi planned to get buyer to sell Air India, submitting debt of more than Rs.48,000 crore, but it could not be done. In April, IndiGo and Jet Airways made it clear that they were not part of the Air India disinvestment process Let you know that, however, when IndiGo mentioned its first wish of Air India's disinvestment plan last year. But when the government clarified that they are not selling Air India International operations separately then IndiGo pulled back.

The government offered to sell Air India with a loan of Rs. 33,000 crore. Because of this, no buyer was found. Air India is currently working on the bailout package given by the government. It is believed that the government has now completely decided to sell Air India, and government is preparing for it. But selling Air India will not be so easy. Because this will have to face enmity from the opposition.
