Corn balls – Best Monsoon Snack

Total cooking time including Preparation: 30 minutes, serving 5-6 persons
1-2 cup boiled and crushed fresh corn kernels
5 medium shaped light boiled potatoes
4-5 slices of Bread
2-3 tablespoon Corn flour
4-5 mashed Garlic
1 small piece of Ginger
3-4 Green chillies or as per taste
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Amchur powder
½ teaspoon Black salt, Black pepper and Red chilly powder each
Salt to taste
1/2 cup Coriander leaves
Mustard/refined/olive Oil for frying
Method of preparation and cooking
Properly mash hard boiled potatoes, crushed fresh corn and whole corn kernels in a large mixing bowl
Crush ginger, garlic and green chillies in a mixer and add to it.
At last mix chopped coriander, salt, black salt, sugar, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder and mix all.
Add corn flour and bread slices in the material prepared for the same well.
Make small sized balls out of it.
Heat oil in a frying pot and deep fry them on high heat till golden brown.
At last press the tooth pick in fried ball it like a lollipop.
Serve corn balls with tomato ketchup or green chutney
