Mango and Ginger Lassi Smoothie

Mango contains the enzymes mangiferin and lactase, which aid digestion and intestinal health. Raw ginger and natural yogurt further amplify the digestive effect and, when liquefied with the ice, also refresh the palate- an ideal accompaniment to a spicy meal. 

Ingredient:
170g prepared mango flesh, diced
2 tsp finely grated fresh root ginger 
350 ml natural yogurt 
A large handful of ice, plus extra to serve 
Sugar, to taste

Method:
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend together until smooth. 

Place the extra ice in tall glasses and pour in the lassi smoothie.

Serve immediately.
