CM Chouhan expresses grief over Amritlal Baigad’s demise

Late Baigad was an invaluable legacy of literature and society 

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed deep grief and paid tributes on the death of litterateur Amritlal Baigad, who expressed Maa Narmada’s form as a lifeline in words and colours.

In his message Chouhan said that Late Baigad is a legacy not only of literature but also of the society. His untimely demise has caused irreparable damage to the country including environment, literature and Narmada sevaks. He undertook padyatra covering more than 4000 kms of Narmada river and its tributaries till the age of 82 and wrote three books on the beautiful river Narmada. The Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the relatives and followers to bear the loss.-Window To News
