For your information, let you know that on the petition of the Madhya Pradesh government, the Supreme Court has directed the MCI to inspect these colleges before the second phase counseling of the MBBS course.

In past, the MCI refused to recognize these medical colleges due to the lack of resources. Madhya Pradesh government had applied to start MBBS course in seven new medical colleges this year. But MCI had refused to recognize all the colleges for some reason after the first round of inspection.

After not being recognized, the Madhya Pradesh government applied for the re-inspection of the colleges by removing the shortcomings, after this the Datia medical college got recognition in the re-inspection, but the MCI refused the recognition of the remaining six medical colleges.

After that, the state government had petitioned in the Supreme Court for inspection.

According to information received from the media, according to the criteria of MCI, in Vidisha, Ratlam and Khandwa Medical College, resources have been mobilized and hopefully after the inspection of MCI these three colleges will get recognition.
