Congress follows ‘BJP path’ in Madhya Pradesh, 'appeals' to elderly leaders for not contesting in assembly election

Congress looks ‘keen’ to get power in Madhya Pradesh, scrutiny committee meeting in Bhopal on 13th and 14th July

JULY 12 (WTN) – Leaders, who have crossed the age of 75, are 'declared' and 'undeclared' have been advised to 'rest' in BJP. Babulal Gaur and Sartaj Singh are 'examples' in Madhya Pradesh BJP. But according to information from the sources, the Madhya Pradesh Congress has ‘appealed’ to the leaders, who have crossed the age of 65, for not contesting in assembly election and come forward to give 'opportunity' to the youth.

According to information received from the media, after the Kamalnath became the MP Congress president, Kamal Nath, in the meeting of the new executive council of Madhya Pradesh, asked, “who wants to contest”, many Congress leaders expressed their desire to contest, but AICC general secretary and state-in-charge Deepak Babariya 'appealed' to the Congress leaders that more than 65 years of age, and have contested three to four time, that leaders should now give 'opportunity' to the young leaders.

According to information from sources, Deepak Babariya had told leaders, “Who are more than 65 years and have contested three to four times, that if they will not contest election this time, then the party will give them 'important responsibility' in the organization. Not only that, if the Congress government is formed then there will be 'protection of their interests’.”

According to information received from the media, in the Congress meeting, Kamal Nath had detailed discussion on sharing of work among the team leaders.  For this, he wanted to know their desire that which leader wants to contest in the assembly election? Kamal Nath said, “Whatever office-bearers want to contest the election, they will be given such work according to which they can also give time to their area.”

Congress is far from the power in Madhya Pradesh since15 years in Madhya Pradesh, Congress has started making ‘strategies’ to win election this time. According to information from the sources, Congress can release its first list of 70 candidates, by August 31. This may be the seats on which the Congress is either in a very "strong" position or where losing 'more than three times'.

According to the information, the scrutiny committee, for the selection of candidates for assembly election in Madhya Pradesh, is coming to Bhopal on July 13 and 14. Committee chairman Madhusudan Mistry will discuss with MP, MLA, former MPs and ex-MLAs on July 13. On July 14, he will meet district presidents and other prominent people.
