Thursday - July 12, 2018 10:16 pm , Category : BHOPAL

Bhopal: Every year on 12th of July, Malala Day is celebrated which is dedicated to the Youngest peace prize winner Malala Yousufzai to mark the Undying Never Giving Up Attitude of this young Pashto Girl. To honour the same spirit Malala Day was also Celebrated at Bhopal's Mom to Mom School. During this event, the children got the opportunity to become a part of lots of activities which made them learn the importance of never to giving up. School Principal Preeti Verma and other teachers encouraged the children to participate in the event and introduced the children to Malala Yousufzai's story.

Malala Yousufzai's courage to fight for the rights of girls' education was the reason which made The United Nations announce 12th July as Malala day on Malala's 16th birthday. On this special day at Mom To Mom school, children prepared a hand painted art which carried the message of Never Giving Up.
Meanwhile, Principal Preeti Verma of Mom to Mom School said that Malala Yusufzai is an example for future generations, and especially for young children. In 2009, Malala, who wrote her diary in the name of Gul Maize, raised a voice for the rights of girls education in Pakistan. A voice which terrorists tried to silence by attacking Malala, in which she was seriously injured. But even post a life threating attack she never stopped which earned her the honour of being the youngest Noble peace prize winner.

Preeti Verma also told that every child should know about Malala Yousafzai and Malala Day. Malala is a living inspiration for children and her story teaches children to fight against injustice and their fears. She wants to inculcate the same "never giving up" attitude in all her students and hence organized The Malala day at her school.
