GATE Hospital conducted weekly media OPD clinic

Guwahati:  The city based GATE Hospital today (13 July) conducted weekly media OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club, where Dr Rajib Kr Bokriwal and Dr Ranjan Das (medicine specialists) offered  free consultations to the participants. Organized for the benefit of press club members along with their dependants, the health camp will also facilitated the participants to check their weight, blood pressure & sugar. Nurses Joyshri Basumatary and Sima Sikdar and health executive Mintu Ranjan Dutta extended supports in the camp. Till date, the press club initiative has been supported by Down Town Hospitals, GNRC Hospitals, Apollo Hospitals, SIMS Hospital, Medanta Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Dispur Hospital, Ayursundra Super Specialty Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Excelcare Hospital, Health City Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital, Rahman Hospital etc.
 
Magnificent Seven screened at press club
The Magnificent Seven, a 1960 American western film directed by JohnSturges and starring Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson,Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter, James Coburn and Horst Buchholz was screened today (13 July) at Guwahati Press Club starting on 5 pm. The action packed movie is a remake of Akira Kurosawa's 1954 acclaimed Japanese film Seven Samurai. The movie has cinematography by Charles Lang and  music by Elmer Bernstein.-Window To News
