Navratri Special: Paneer ki Kheer

Ingredients:

4 cups full fat milk
1/2 cup grated paneer (cheese)
6 tbsp sugar or to taste
3 green cardamoms
8-10 almonds, chopped
10-12 cashews, chopped
10-12 pistachios, chopped
10-12 filament saffron, optional
1/2 tsp rose water, optional
 
Method:
 
Heat full fat milk in low flame, cook it till it starts to thicken.
Add sugar, and give the milk a good stir for another 10 minutes,
Add the ground cardamom, saffron, and chopped dry fruits. Stir the kheer, and add the grated paneer. Cook the kheer for another 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the flame and add rose water. Allow it to cool down a little, garnish with small chopped dry-fruits and serve.
 
You can add other dry-fruits ingredients as per your choice. Taste and preparation of this Kheer is suitable anytime as ultimate desserts as well as this Navratri during your fast.
