Though no such foods and drinks sudden recover you from hangover, but certain foods are better for refueling than others. After waking up necessary fluids and nutrients like fructose, vitamins, amino acids, and minerals that can help break down toxins and reduce chemical reactions.

Glass of Water

A glass of water should be your top priority after waking up with heavy head. Alcohol is a diuretic, which means it pushes liquids out of the body. Drinking some water before going to bed can help prevent some painful hangover symptoms; even a full water bottle in the morning doesn’t hurt either.

Ginger or Peppermint Tea

For a soothing brew, look no further than your favorite herbal tea. Studies show that ginger tea may reduce nausea and motion sickness.  Peppermint tea may also ease stomach pain and decrease nausea.

Coconut Water and Sports Drinks

Sugary sports drinks and coconut water have the electrolytes found in human blood. Finally, one more cure that's garnered a cult following is electrolyte drink intended for dehydrated children like ORS, provides even more sodium and potassium, for far fewer calories.

Fruit Juice

Pour a glass of apple or cranberry juice to kick start the recovery process. The fructose in sweet fruity drinks gives the body some instant energy, and juice also contains vitamins and plenty of water to help rehydrate the body.

Coffee

While waking up with zero energy could worsen that headache, since caffeine is a mild diuretic. The liquid in coffee can help rehydrate your body, and it does give you a little boost of energy. Some studies showed that the combo of caffeine and over-the-counter inflammatory drugs may help counteract the head-pounding effects of a hangover.

Pickle Juice

This hangover remedy is outdated, but many confirm its effect! The sour liquid contains vinegar, salt, and water, which can help rehydrate and replenish electrolyte and sodium levels. To make the most of it, sip two tablespoon before hitting the bars and another two ounces in the morning. - Window To News
