Tomorrow to be the 'real test' of Madhya Pradesh police

Wednesday - September 5, 2018 1:40 pm , Category : WTN SPECIAL

Section 144 applicable to many places, Internet service may be closed

SEP 05 (WTN) - On Tomorrow, September 6, the tension of the state police has been increased due to statewide closure against the amendment in the SC-ST Act. According to information received from the media, Bhopal-based police headquarters got information about the effect of the shutdown in 45 districts of the state. For your information, let you know that this Mega closure has been supported by SAPAKS as well as about 40 organizations.

As you know, the amendment made by the central government in the SC-ST Act is being strongly opposed in whole Madhya Pradesh. Tomorrow, on September 6, the announcement has been made on behalf of the upper castes, backward classes and minorities. Permission has been sought from the administration for shutdown and rally in many districts of the state.

The closure is being promoted on Facebook and WhatsApp as well. There are many political matters of this close down because the people gathered against the SC-ST act have now started opposing the leaders. In many places the leaders are facing public resentment.

According to the information, in 45 districts including Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Datia, Ujjain, Katni, Satna, Jabalpur, Sidhi, Rewa, Harda, Vidisha, Sagar and Tikamgarh, SAPAKS has held a meeting with other organizations of the upper classes. Organizations have sought support for closing down with business organizations. Here, there is a mood of worry in leaders due to the activation of SAPAKS

The amendment in the SC-ST Act has been so much opposed that leaders like Kamal Nath, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Thavarchand Gehlot have faced public anger. People have also shown anger against many MPs, after which politicians have been upset. It is being said that the public is very angry with the leaders who do not oppose the amendment in the SC-ST act.

However, SPs and IGs are free to control the conditions during close down as they have been instructed by PHQ. It is being said that Internet service can also be stopped if needed. Here, the district administration is imposing section 144 on the basis of sensitive areas, while the leave of police officers and employees has been canceled.

If the closure of tomorrow is peaceful, then it will give relief to the police. Tomorrow's closure will also examine the police's preparedness and responsibilities. Tomorrow's closure, before the election, is not less than a challenge for the police. If tomorrow there would be violence like held on April 2, then it will raise questions about the functioning of the police. Because the way the stones were thrown on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan's vehicle, the weakness of the police input is revealed. Now it has to be seen whether the police can handle the closure of tomorrow.
