Farmers to get irrigation facility from Bhavsa project without spending money on electricity

CM Chouhan lays foundation of project 

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid foundation of Bhavsa Medium Irrigation Project costing Rs. 104.45 crore in Burhanpur today. He said that this is the first micro gravity underground pipeline system based project of the district. Farmers will get water for irrigation up to their farms without spending money on electricity.

It may be mentioned that the construction of Bhavsa Medium Irrigation Project will be completed by June 2020. The project will facilitate irrigation on total 9 thousand acre land of all the nearby villages.

The Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Archana Chitnis, Member of Parliament Nand Kumar Chouhan and Prabhat Jha, other public representatives as well as farmers and villagres were present during the programme.-Window To News
