BJP and Congress worried about the agitation of upper caste society, fear of NOTA

SEP 11 (WTN) - After the amendment in the SC-ST Act, the upper caste is opposing it very strongly; it is a wave of concern in political parties. Gradually the resistance of the upper caste society is now changing in the movement. Apart from the upper castes, the backward class is also giving its support, in such a way that both the BJP and the Congress parties have started exercising to appease the upper caste before the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

According to the information received from the media, BJP has created a plan to appease the malcontent upper cast who are unhappy with the amendment in the SC-ST Act. The BJP has decided that the resentment of upper caste people will be resolved with discussion. Because it is believed that if the BJP does not do this in the time, winning the fourth time in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections would be a dream.

With the amendment in the SC-ST act, the upper caste society resentment is also from the point that no BJP leader and any leader of Congress has given any statement in their support, whereas the OBC and minorities are in oppose in the entire state. Even during the close down on September 6, when the BJP and the Congress did not give support, then the upper caste community was very angry with both parties.

In the election year, Congress has taken the first step in view of the anger of the upper caste. In a statement, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath said, "We will appease the upper caste, we want justice with everyone. Congress will not allow injustice to anyone.” Not only that, Kamal Nath also said, “Congress opposes the misuse of this act.”

Now after the Congress, the BJP can’t face the annoying the votes of the upper caste vote bank. According to the information received from the media, in this matter, in the meeting in Bhopal, the organization, including the general secretary, several big leaders including Madhya Pradesh, will review the public agitation. On the other hand, the party office bearers will also give their feedback about the opposition to the amendment in the SC-ST Act.

After the amendment in the SC-ST Act, the way the upper castes and backward caste are in anger and in favor of suppressing the NOTA by not giving votes to any party in the assembly elections, it has to force both the BJP and the Congress to rethink that somewhere their stance is boomeranged.
