Chief Minister dedicates Kundaliya Dam and lays foundation stone of Micro Irrigation Project 
Announces to name Kundaliya Dam as Atal Sagar Dam 

Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated the Kundaliya Dam costing Rs. 4 thousand crore and laid foundation stone of Micro Irrigation Project at Kundlaiya village of Agar-Malwa today. He said that it is must to maintain a tradition of social harmony in the state. He further mentioned that all the schemes of the state government have been implemented to bring happiness in the life of people belonging to all the religions and caste.

On demand from the people, Chouhan made an announcement to name Kundaliya Dam as Atal Sagar Dam. Informing about the achievements of the state in the field of irrigation and agriculture besides Sambal Yojana, he urged people to come forward and avail benefits of the schemes to make their life prosperous.

Apprising about the Kundlaiya Dam, Chouhan mentioned that irrigation facility will be provided on 3 lakh 25 thousand acre agriculture land of 535 villages of Rajgarh and Agar-Malwa district from this dam. Drinking water will be made available easily to the surrounding cities too under this project. He further stated that the survey will be conducted of those villages, which have been affected by the dam. Compensation will be given immediately in those villages, where it is due.

Soybean not to be allowed to sell less than the price of Rs. 3400 per quintal

Chouhan assured farmers that soybean will not be allowed to sell less than the price of Rs. 3400 per quintal. The Bhavantar Rashi to garlic-onion producing farmers’ of Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh and Shajapur district will be given on September 22.

The Members of Parliament Manohar Untwal and Rodmal Nagar, MLAs Murlidhar Patidar, Gopal Parmar, Hazarilal Dangi, Kunwar Kothar, President of Jila Panchayat Smt. Kalabai Guhatiya, other Public Representatives, villagers and farmers in large number were present on the occasion.-Window To News
