Bhopal: The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Hindi language is a source to link India. A tradition to promote Hindi and Hindi literature’s enrichment will be continued in Madhya Pradesh. Chouhan was addressing the inaugural function of a 3 day Madhya Pradesh Sahityotsav here today. He made announcement to give Rs. 7 crore for construction of Sahitya Sabha’s building in Gwalior according to the feelings of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Seven Hindi Sevis have been honoured with Hindi Bhasha Samman in the programme.

Moreover Chouhan mentioned why there is one day for Hindi, all days should belong to Hindi. Several great personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose have considered Hindi as the language to link India. Every country of the world speaks its own language. One can express views in its own language in a better manner not in other language. The Hindi University after the name of Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been started in the state. Late Atal Bihari Vajpaye delivered speech in the United Nations Organisation in Hindi language. Hindi should be the language of education. Take a resolution that we will bring Hindi in practice and enrich it. Literature and culture will prosper, when our language enriches. Literature is an important aspect of humanity. The series to publish literature of old litterateurs will be continued. The Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam and world peace have been said thousand years ago in our country.

The Chief Secretary B.P. Singh stated that Hindi Alankaran Diwas has been observed in the state according to the announcement made in the Vishwa Hindi Sammelan-2016. Those litterateurs who have worked to promote Hindi language have gone into oblivion. Work has been started to publish their literature. The work to render service to Hindi language and Hindi literature will be continued further. The Additional Chief Secretary Culture Manoj Shrivastava informed about the outline of the Sahityotsav. He further informed that Litterateurs of 22 states and abroad are taking part in this 3 day programme.

The CM Chouhan released the comprehensive book of the renowned poet Late Gurubhakt Singh ‘Bhakt’. The book has been published by the Madhya Pradesh Sahitya Parishad. Under the Hindi Bhasha Samman, Information Technology Award has been conferred to Dr. Anurag Seetha, whereas Dr. Ramprasad Bhatt, Prof. Jiang Jingkui, Dr. Shiv Chandra Dubey and Dr. Chhabil Kumar Meher were honoured with Nirmal Verma award, Father Kamil Bulke award, Gunakar Mule award and Hindi Seva award respectively for the year 2017-18.

The programme was also addressed by Anand Singh, the son of Late Gurubhakt Singh ‘Bhakt’. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Director of Madhya Pradesh Hindi Sahitya Parishad Umesh Kumar Singh.-Widnow To News
