Petrol, Diesel become cheaper by Rs. 5 per litre in state

CM Chouhan reduces taxes too 

Bhopal: Petrol and Diesel became cheaper by Rs. 5 per litre in the state. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also announced reduction in the price of petrol and diesel. As a result of reduction by the Union and State Government, consumers will get petrol and diesel cheaper by Rs. 5 per litre in the state.

It is to be highlighted that petrol and diesel have been reduced by Rs. 2.50 per litre by the Union Government. The CM Chouhan has expressed gratitude towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Finance Arun Jaitley for reduction in prices of petrol and diesel by the union government.

Additional tax on petrol has been reduced by Rs. 2.50 and VAT on diesel has been reduced by 4 percent in the state. As a consequence, taxes on petrol and diesel have come down by Rs. 2.50 per litre in the state. The prices of petrol and diesel will come down by a total of Rs. 5 per litre in the state owing to the reduction of Rs. 2.50 per litre by the centre and Rs. 2.50 by the state government.-Window To News
