Kamal Nath targets Mayawati after Digvijay Singh

Kamal Nath alleges, "Mayawati was seeking more seats than required in the coalition"

OCT 08 (WTN) – The dates for the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections has been announced. Victory for the fourth time for the BJP after winning three consecutive times is not less than any 'challenge', so here the Congress, far from the power for 15 years, is working on its strategy to win this time. In order to defeat the BJP, the Congress party was watching the 'dreams' of the alliance with the BSP and the Samajwadi Party, to prevent 'the polarization’ of anti-BJP votes. But both parties have given a ‘big blow’ to the Congress by refusing to be part of alliance with Congress in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.

Talk to BSP, then BSP chief Mayawati's decision to not contest the elections by combine with Congress in three states, including Madhya Pradesh, is very much on offer. After the victory of the 'unified candidate' of the Opposition in Gorakhpur, Phulpur and Kairana Lok Sabha by-elections in UP, there was speculations that in the coming elections, the 'whole opposition' would contest the election against the BJP candidate. But in Madhya Pradesh, the BSP has ‘denied’ to be the part of the alliance with the Congress.

Madhya Pradesh state Congress president Kamal Nath, in an interview given to a TV channel, says that the complete ‘amenability’ of not having a coalition with the BSP in Madhya Pradesh is on Mayawati. According to Kamal Nath, Mayawati had demanded those 50 seats where her party had secured just 2000 to 3000 thousand votes in the last assembly elections. Further, Kamal Nath said, “If the Congress and BSP don’t have a coalition against the BJP then the BJP can easily win.”

Further Kamal Nath says, "In the 2013 assembly elections, the BSP had secured a total of 6.3 percent votes in Madhya Pradesh and they want 50 seats in the alliance in this assembly election." Asking the questions to Mayawati, Kamal Nath said, “In UP, the Congress vote share is 6 percent, then should the Congress also demand such seats?

But everyone has the same 'question' in the mind that why Mayawati has not formed alliance with Congress in three states including Madhya Pradesh. Here, a few days ago, Mayawati had described Digvijay Singh as ‘responsible’ behind the no alliance between BSP and Congress. Mayawati had clearly said, “There are many leaders like Digvijay Singh in the Congress who don’t want alliance with the BSP in the Madhya Pradesh.” Mayawati had even said, “Digvijay Singh is a 'BJP agent.”

For your information let you know that Mayawati had targeted Digvijay Singh because Digvijay Singh had said while taunting on Mayawati, "Mayawati is afraid of CBI and ED and that is why she fears for alliance due to CBI and ED.” Digvijay Singh, in a way, said, “The Modi government has ‘scared’ Mayawati through the CBI and ED that she doesn’t co-align with the Congress.”

Only Mayawati can give the correct answer that why she didn’t cooperate with the Congress in Madhya Pradesh. But the BJP will get the biggest benefit of not being coalition between the Congress and the BSP. If both parties are united, then anti BJP's votes would not be polarized and then BJP will have complete loss. But we can say that both BSP and Congress party have 'mistake' behind not being the coalition. Keeping the 'big heart', Congress had to give a few more seats to the BSP, as well as it was not 'logical' to ask by the BSP to demand nearly 50 seats with just 6.3 percent of the vote share. Well, there is still time, it may be an alliance between these two parties before the election. But if there is no coalition, then its full advantage goes to the BJP.
