News Channels are being monitored 24 hours in M.C.M.C. room

Bhopal: As per the directives of the Election Commission of India, the M.C.M.C. Room has become functional with the announcement of election in the state. Under the Media certification and Monitoring Committee, the M.C.M.C. room is working 24 hours at the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.

The Additional Director of the Public Relations Department has been made nodal officer of the M.C.M.C. room. A staff comprising 60 officers and employees of the Public Relations department are working with him. Nineteen T.V. news channels are being monitored 24 hours and a daily report in this regard is being sent to the Chief Electoral Officer.

Moreover, news papers and magazines are also being monitored and paid news are being compiled in the M.C.M.C. room. Similarly, M.C.M.C rooms have also been set up at the district level all over the state.-Window To News
