BJP wins 9 by-election out of 14, Congress wins 5 

NOV 26 (WTN) - After the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh in the year 2013, there were 14 by-elections held in Madhya Pradesh till the 2018 Assembly elections date announced. 9 times by-election held due to the death of MLA, and 5 times due to the resignation by the legislature.

Let’s describe you in detail that on which 14 seats in Madhya Pradesh there were by-elections held and what was the results of these by-elections. In these 14 seats, the BJP could win 9 seats and the Congress 5 seats.

BJP legislator Prabhat Pandey, who won from Bahoriband seat in the 2013 Assembly elections, passed away on April 12, 2014, by-election on this seat won by Congress candidate kunwar Saurabh Singh.

BJP legislator from Garoth seat Rajesh Yadav passed away on March 27, 2015, after which BJP candidate Chandar Singh Sisodia won the by-election on this seat.

BJP MLA from Dewas, Tukojirao Pawar passed away on June 19, 2015, after which his wife Gayatri Raje Gaikwad won the by-election on BJP ticket form this seat.

BJP legislator Sajjan Singh Uike from Ghoradongri, passed away on March 19, 2016, after which BJP candidate Mangal Singh Dhuve won the by-election on this seat.

BJP legislator Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu from Nepnagar, passed away on June 9, 2016, in the by-election on this seat, Ms. Manju Rajendra Dadu, daughter of late MLA Rajendra Shyamlal Dadu, won the by-election

Congress MLA Satyadev Katare, MLA from Ater seat, passed away on October 20, 2016, after which his son Hemant Satyadev Katare won the by-election on this seat.

Congress MLA from Chitrakoot, Prem Singh passed away on May 29, 2017, Congress candidate Nilanshu Chaturvedi won the by-election in Chitrakoot seat.

Congress MLA from Mungaoli seat, Mahendra Singh Kalukheda passed away on 11th September, 2017, after which Brijendra Singh Yadav won the by-election in this constituency.

Congress MLA Ram Singh Yadav from Kolaras died on October 18, 2017, Congress candidate Mahendra Singh Yadav won the by-election in this seat.

After winning on the two seats in 2013 Assembly elections form Vidisha and Budhni, Shivraj Singh Chauhan resigned from the Vidisha seat, after which the BJP candidate Kalyan Singh Thakur won the by-election held in the Vidisha seat.

Sanjay Pathak, who won on the Congress ticket from Vijayaraghvgarh Assembly seat, had resigned from the Congress party and joined BJP, after which Sanjay Pathak won the by-election in this seat.

Manohar Untwal, who was elected MLA from Agar seat, resigned from that seat after winning in the 2014 Lok Sabha election from Dewas seat, after which BJP candidate Gopal Parmar won in the by-election From Agar seat.

Narayan Tripathi, who won from Maihar Assembly seat in 2013  Assembly election on Congress party ticket, had resigned from the Congress and joined the BJP, after which Narayan Tripathi won the by-election in Miahar seat  on BJP ticket.

After winning the by-elections in Shahdol Lok Sabha seat in 2016, BJP legislator Gyan Singh, who was elected MLA from Bandhavgarh seat in the 2013 Assembly election, gave resignation, after which BJP candidate Shivnarayan Singh won the by-election in Bandhavgarh seat.
