Administration’s efforts leads to increased polling in Indore

Bhopal: Special attention was paid this time the polling stations in urban areas for the Vidhan Sabha elections-2018 in Indore district, where there was less turnout during the last Assembly elections. 21 such polling booths with less polling were identified in the district. Special efforts were made in these areas. With the help of 'Vote Indore Vote' app, the mobile number of voters was verified by the booth level officer and SMS was also sent. At the grassroots level, more than 100 volunteers went from door-to-door to make voters understand the importance of voting.

In Devrakhedi of Vidhan Sabha constituency 203 Depalpur, polling percentage has increased from 0.41 percent in year 2013 to 86.67 percent in year 2018. Similarly, In Nandbagh of Vidhan Sabha constituency 204 Indore-1 polling percentage increased from 38.15 percent in year 2013 to 64.31 percent in year 2018, in Qila Maidan, polling percentage increased from 47.93 percent in year 2013 to 58.78 percent in year 2018, in Shastri Colony polling percentage increased from 48.15 percent in year 2013 to 50.78 percent in year 2018, in Sirpur 09 of Indore-1, polling percentage increased from 46.23 percent in year 2013 to 53.34 percent in year 2018, in Ganganagar Colony, polling percentage increased from 49.63 percent in year 2013 to 78.37 percent in year 2018, in Sirpur from 49.14 percent in year 2013 to 63.25 percent in year 2018 and in Kalani Nagar polling percentage has increased from 48.78 percent in year 2013 to 66.26 percent in year 2018.

In Samver Road of Vidhan Sabha constituency 205 Indore 2, polling percentage increased from 48.01 percent in year 2013 against 53.47 percent in year 2018, in Samver Road Little Moon 47.16 percent in year 2013 against 50.34 percent in year 2018 and in Deendayal Upadhyaya Nagar Sukhliya polling percentage increased from 49.59 percent in year 2013 to 58.42 percent in year 2018.

In Mahatma Gandhi Marg of Vidhan Sabha constituency 206 Indore-3 polling percentage increased from 47.27 percent in year 2013 to 61.46 percent in year 2018 and in Polo Ground polling percentage increased from 48.53 percent in year 2013 to 52.45 percent in year 2018.

In Ring Road 03 near Bombay Hospital of Vidhan Sabha constituency 208 Indore-5, polling percentage increased from 48.57 percent in year 2013 to 62.78 percent in year 2018, in 04 Ring Road, near Bombay Hospital polling percentage increased from 46.3 percent in year 2013 to 52.37 percent in year 2018, in Bhagyashri of Ring Road near Bombay Hospital polling percentage increased from 42.77 percent in year 2013 to 50.07 percent in year 2018, in Agra Bombay Road polling percentage increased from 49.14 percent in year 2013 to 63.51 percent in year 2018, in Tejpurgadbadi of 210 Rau polling percentage increased from 48.9 percent in year 2013 to 62.67 percent in year 2018, in Pipalyarao, polling percentage increased from 49.94 percent in year 2013 to 54.48 percent in year 2018 and in Palda polling percentage increased from 48.04 percent in year 2013 to 71.92 percent in year 2018.
